THE COMPILERS OF NAHJUL-BALAGHA.

Sheikh Mufeed(ra) is a well-known Shia scholar, Faqih and Arif. He sees a dream, in which Fatima Zahra(sa) comes to Sheikh Mefeed while holding the hands of Imam Hussain(as) and Imam Hassan(as). Fatima Zahra(as) tells Sheikh Mufeed to teach both of her sons ilm-ul Fiqah (علم الفقه).

Sheikh Mufeed wakes up, confused and keep pondering on the meaning and interpretation of this dream. In the morning, a respectful lady by name of Fatima, the mother of Sayed Murtaza and Sayed Razi, who were children then, enters the living quarter of Sheikh Mufeed along with her servants and repeats the same sentence as Fatima Zahra(as) from the Sheikh’s dream. Teach my sons ilm-ul Fiqah (علم الفقه).Sheikh Mufeed tells her about his last night’s dream. And agrees to teach without any delay.

Soon he starts teaching the two brothers. After years, they both became well-known and highly educated scholars and Mujtahedeen of their time.The real name of Sayed Murtaza was; Ali ibn Hussain ibn Musa ibn Mohammad Musa ibn Jafar Sadiq(as).

Both Sayed Murtaza and Sayed Razi collected and compiled the Nahjul-Balagha. and spread their knowledge and wisdom among the Shias. Sayed Murtaza was given the title of (علم الهدی) by Ameerul-Momineen(as).Abu Sa’eed Mohammad ibn Hussain, who was a vazir between (381-422) became sick in year 420 and he saw Imam Ali(as) in his dream, where Imam(as) told the vazir to ask for (علم الهدی) to pray for him and he will be cured by the grace of Allah.

He did ask for Sayed Murtaza and he prayed for him and he was cured from his sickness. He was officially given the title by the government of the time, but Sayed Murtaza kept rejecting the title. Some historical books have mentioned the Spirituality and Karamat of both Sayed Murtaza(ra) and Sayed Razi(as) briefly because their Irfan was so hidden and mysterious. The man of wisdom and knowledge don’t seek titles, they seek the pleasure of Allah.

“GO HOME, ALLAH HAS RETURNED HER”

Sheikh Abbas Qochani (شیخ عباس قوچانی) narrated that once he was at the place of Ayatullah Syed Ali Qazi (ra), his mentor, and a seminary student entered. Grief stricken, emotionally traumatized, he was crying out loud. He told Ayatollah Qazi (ra):”Haaj Agha, I have been married for almost thirty years and Allah has not blessed me with children. Now, I have left her DYING at home, she is critically ill. All I have is her and all she has is me. I fear if she dies, so will I.

Please do something. “Ayatollah Qazi (ra) bowed his head down, raised his hands up and with utmost humility and concentration made dua. After dua, he wiped the tears off his face and said: “Go home, Allah has returned her.

“The student rushed back to his home and was astounded to see her wife, whom he had left dying minutes ago, sitting upright. Before he would say a word, she spoke: “You have done me great favor by going to Ayatollah Qazi (ra). When you left home, death angel Izra’el arrived, got my soul and ascended to the heavens.

When I reached at fourth sky, I heard a command and it said: “IN the honor of the dua of Syed Ali Qazi (ra), RETURN HER SOUL.”اللھم صلی علی محمد و آل محمد و عجل فرجھم ⁦

Valor of Imam e Naqi (AS)

In a field opposite his palace, Mutawakkil had kept in captivity many man-eating wild animals like lions, tigers, leopards and bears etc. A very high wall surrounded this field. The field was known as Barkatul Saba.

When Mutawakkil used to be extremely angry with a criminal, he was pushed into this enclosure. The beasts inside used to pounce on him and finish him off in no time.

One day Mutawakkil summoned Imam Ali Naqi (a.s) and said to him, “I have heard that you are instigating people to revolt against me.” Imam (a.s) said, “Whoever has conveyed this has given you incorrect information. I have never taken part in any political matter.” He said, “You are trying to fool me.” Imam (a.s) became angry at this allegation and he said, “Do you consider me like yourself? We are Ahl ul-Bayt of the Messenger.

We never resort to intrigue.” Mutawakkil ordered him to be thrown to the beasts, and he himself went to the terrace of his palace to watch the drama. The slaves tried to forcibly take Imam (a.s) to the enclosure of the wild animals but he said, “There is no need to apply force, I will go there myself.” The Holy Imam walked with absolute tranquility and opening the door of the enclosure stepped inside.

All those who witnessed this daring were shocked. As soon as he reached inside all the beasts gathered around him and wagging their tails fell down at his feet, while the Imam caressed their heads and backs in affection. After this Imam (a.s) calmly spread his prayer mat and performed Prayer. The beasts surrounded him in a circle and watched his dignified worship. Seeing this, Mutawakkil was bewildered and he had to face intense regret.

Mortar Shells Hit Hazrat Zaynab (SA) Holy Shrine in Damascus, 1 Martyred

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) – Several mortar shells fired by foreign-backed terrorist groups have hit the holy shrine of Hazrat Zaynab (AS) near the Syrian capital of Damascus. The shells were fired on Friday by foreign-backed militants fighting against the Syrian government.

The holy shrine has suffered some damages after the attack.

Some local agencies released news over the martyrdom of the custodian of holy Shrine.

In response, the fighters of the Public Committees carried out military operations against the militants’ strongholds in Hejira, injuring a number of militants.

It’s worth to mention that Sayyeda Zainab region in Damascus countryside is exposed to daily mortar shells and rocket-propelled grenades fired by armed groups.

The holy shrine, located in southern suburb of Damascus, also suffered damages in an attack by terrorists in June 2012. A car bomb explosion was also occurred near an intersection leads up to the shrine in September, 2008.

Last month, a group of foreign-backed terrorists have also clashed with army troops near the shrine.

Syria has been gripped by deadly unrest since 2011. According to the United Nations, more than 90,000 people have been killed and millions of others displaced in the violence.

Damascus says the chaos is being orchestrated from outside the country, and there are reports that a very large number of the militants are foreign nationals.

The regime of Israel, along with the West and its other regional allies, are partners in supporting over two years of deadly militancy in Syria.

Beirut Friday Prayer Leader: We are proud of supporting Iran

Beirut Friday Prayer Leader Seyyed Ali Fadlallah said on Friday that the Islamic Republic of Iran puts the issue of Palestine at top of its agenda which makes its supporters proud of backing the country.

The prominent Lebanese figure made the remarks in a meeting with Iran’s Ambassador to Beirut Ghazanfar Rokn Abadi at Iran’s embassy in Beirut.

In the meeting, the two sides reviewed regional developments as well as those of Lebanon.

Highlighting Iran’s leading role in regional developments, he said maintaining unity is regarded as the most important issue under the current circumstances.

The Islamic Republic of Iran played significant role in spiriting up the nations in the region, he said.

Highlighting regional developments, the Iranian ambassador for his part, referred to Iran’s six-point plan to help resolve Syrian crisis.

The six-point plan seeks the cease of violence and conflicts and underlines that the issue has to be merely solved through talks between the opposition groups and Syrian government to help hold parliamentary and presidential elections in Syria.

The problem has roots in Mal-performance and dissemination of fabricated news by those trying to distort or exaggerate realities, he said.

Iran’s six-point plan fully considers this point and tries to closely pursue the country’s developments, he said.
